Ask your SPL... My What?

A guide for transitioning from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA

From the terms to the ranks, there are many differences from what you have become quite familiar in Cub Scouting, Webelos and AOL to the new world of Scouting you have just started navigating... your and your Scout's journey in Scouting.

While the mission remains the same, to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law, there are some differences between Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA.

The document attached is a guide to help you to make this transition more easily.

I made this document as one of my Wood Badge ticket goals.  My desire is that it not only helps Scouts transition from my local pack to troop; but that it helps everyone making this transition.

Thank you.
