About a 6-1/2 hour drive from Rochester is Lake Nipissing, Ontario, Canada.The French River flows out of it in a southwesterly direction. This is an Ontario Provincial Park with established campsite that are to be reserved on-line or via phonecall. Our first plan was to put-in at the west end of Lake Nippising and go all the way to HIghway 69. But in the end the group had wittle down far enough to go with one vehicle and we decided to put in at the Dokis Marina.
